This is mommy Tammy??. Happy Sunday! ? We hope all our friends are having a wonderful weekend! ? Hubby found a new vet (VCA west Phoenix) and we took Ollie and Allie there yesterday for check up. (Sammy & Max later appointments) The doctor gave both Allie and Oliver lab work! ? Ollie's came back looking good! ?? Protein level in his urine ? is a little high the doctor wants to do further testing. ?However he does have some arthritis on his hind legs also the doctor saw "possible" early signs of cataracts because of old age and she recommended us to see an eye specialist in the near future and gave Ollie medications for arthritis and allergy. ? Oliver and Allie both need dental cleaning in the near future. ? As for Allie, many of our friends already knew that Allie had a very tough puppyhood! ? She was diagnosed with Liver Shunt disease a few days after her big girl surgery at only six months old! ? Just 11 days after her spay surgery Allie went under Liver Shunt surgery again! ???? (A little over a year ago) The recovery was once again very difficult as she had very bad reactions from the medication! ?? (We are still grateful everyday for the amount of love, prayers and support we received from our IG family during that time!) ?? Long story short, because of her liver condition, she will have to be on low protein diet for the rest of her life even after surgery! ?? I really think it is because of her liver condition, Allie is a very picky eater and she gets tired of the food she likes very easily! ? But other than that she's doing marvelously! ?? As a matter of fact, doctor gave Allie extensive bloodwork ?yesterday and we cannot be happier to share this wonderful news with you all that all Allie's liver enzymes came back normal!!! ??????❤️? We know many of our friends have been keeping Allie (and all the babies) in their prayers ?? and we just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! ??❤️??
