My mother has always been my guiding light, and my Spring 2017 show was dedicated to her strength and her fiercely independent spirit. She always wanted to "change the idea that the higher you go, the fewer women there are." It was she who inspired me to start our foundation, Shikshya Foundation Nepal, which aims to bring education to girls in Nepal, seeking to turn them into a critical mass of leaders.
We are so proud to be partnering with the @トムズシューズ team on a collaboration that benefits SFN. The collection is inspired by the colors, textures and elements of my home in Nepal, and here we are on our give trip in Nepal last April. We are so thankful to TOMS for their support.
