#PointeChronicles • Angel | #Acapella cover by my incredible best friend @MilckMusic ? I believe the duty of an artist is to make people feel... Be it laughter, tears, joy, pain, and everything in between. Create what you must, know what is true for you in the process, and set it free • The original idea I had for this was very different for what it ended up being... I filmed this #improv on Wednesday night with the help of my dear friend Vera, who stayed with me after a full day of teaching ballet to share a creative moment. It is far from perfect and when the music came on I had no idea what I was going to do. But I closed my eyes and this came out... What this piece means to me will be different than what it will mean to you, and that is the point. Have your own experience, and decide for you what it makes you feel or not feel. I went last night to try and create another version but ended up coming back to this first improv as it was the most raw and unforced.
