Mai next upcoming makeover guest on #HowDoILookAsia is Amy. Amy has lost over 100 lbs, but like many who lose a dramatic amount of weight, she still lives in the trauma of her past size (sometimes known as phantom fat). Since then, Amy has become severely depressed and isolated from the outside world. For the past few years, Amy's every day has consisted of getting up, putting on old OVERsized shirts and pants of her past, and going to work- only so she can return home to be alone. It pained me to meet such a smart, bright (and funny, loving!) young woman drowning in life with no direction of purpose or self worth. Nobody should EVER feel that way- every single soul is valuable to our world. Each has a story to tell that builds our own walks with wisdom.
