Fear is no excuse to not perform the tactical training given as a civil servant. My heart cries as my brothers and sister are murdered daily and justice is never seen. The fear I have when I forget to signal when changing lanes while driving or I might be killed. The fear I have when allowing my brother to drive my car because we will most likely be pulled over and harassed. The fear I have being the only black face in a neighborhood or business as I'm often singled out and treated differently. The daily journey we go on as black people to prove that we are no threat, it's SAD. Let's deal with our #FEARS because they are killing my people, our people. How do I explain this to my innocent daughter that does not even see color, how do I tell her that because of her skin color she already has stripes against her? I cry as I write this because I just don't understand. #GodHelpUs
