Video by @renan_ozturk // After the two month expedition through the northern jungles and high Himalayan mountains of Myanmar for #myanmarclimb, @taylorfreesolo and I took a little side trip to Bagan to film a different part of the country's culture. We met this young girl Khin San Hlaing when she and her mother were selling bracelets at the temples at 5am before school. By day 2, she was our morning and evening side-kick and paid "guide", 11 years old and eager to learn about lenses and setting up timelapses on tripods, wrangling audio equipment, figuring out exposure settings and composing her own shots. Never have I met a faster learner. We now help her family with her private education as she jumped into Grade 10 this year. She is interested in developing her own tourism business and devouring as many books as she can get her hands on. @camp4collective @hilareeoneill @エミリー・ハリントン @Cory Richards
