Handstands come and go for me these days (and where does my belly even go when I'm upside down??) but the sunset tonight was magical and this handstand felt absolutely amazing. Sand beneath my hands, feet in the sky and a moment of perfectly balanced presence. Afterwards I walked over to our table on the beach to sit down and all of a sudden - I felt a teeny little poke from within the left side of my belly! I don't know how to describe it but it was almost like... Like a bubble! A teeny tiny little bubble. I placed my hand there and stayed very present and quiet for a while but didn't feel anything else. Right as I was about to dismiss it as weird, new pregnancy gas - I felt it again! Two little pokes this time, and after a minute, even more! A whole tap-dance sequence of magic. Within me! You guys. Im actually feeling the baby! I think!! Little poppyseed is either dancing with joy over my handstand or grumpily objecting being woken up - hard to tell?
