Follow us - we're heading down to Caves Beach in @visitnsw. It won't just be sand that you'll find at the bottom of these stairs however; there's a network of sea caves at the southern end of the beach here, which can be explored at low tide. This spot is an easy day trip from @sydney, or if you're keen to stay for longer, the nearby village of Swansea at the entrance to the lovely Lake Macquarie is the ideal spot to base yourself for a relaxing few days by the water.
