Yusra, 18, fled #Syria to escape the devastating conflict. During her perilous journey across the Mediterranean Sea, she slipped into the water and began pushing the boat towards land, saving the others onboard. From swimming for her life to being part of the historic #TeamRefugees at the Rio Olympics, Yusra is an absolute inspiration. This week she received The Girl Award at the Global Awards Dinner.
