For @ドリス・ヴァン・ノッテン's #pfw show today, the designer partnered with the Japanese flower artist @東信 on the ice sculptures that flanked the runway, using nearly 100 types of rare flowers for 23 different arrangements. “The flowers are even more beautiful in the blocks of ice, as they interact with air bubbles and light,” Azuma says. While the original “Iced Flowers” staging, held last year in Tokyo, was more experimental, he adds, “this time, collaborating with Dries and his world, my work became much more certain and strong.” Photo by @mollysjlowe. #azumamakoto #makotoazuma #amkk #amkkproject
