on april 15th 2009 i walked into the @101.coffeeshop for the first time ever. i had 5 days sober and no friends. someone invited me to meet them for coffee and i said yes. i had no idea it would become my favorite place on earth for the next seven years. i celebrated everything good that ever happened to me, here. i cried at probably every booth in this whole place. i ate so many cheeseburgers i could never count them. i ordered a waffle brownie sundae for every celebration. the 101 cafe became my kitchen, my office, and my regular hang. if i was home from tour there was always an 80% chance i was here. i wanna thank the managers and waiters for being so kind to me over the years and for becoming my dear friends. i wanna thank this space for holding all of my favorite moments, memories and my heart. it is with great joy, as i move out of this city, to pass on my experience and love of this humble cafe to hopefully the next scared, lonely little waitress trying to make it and welcome her home ❤️
