Doing press for the first movie I have ever filmed, #Moonlight, is an exciting experience. As a young thespian writing short stories, going after school to Shakespearean classes, & doing HS theatrical productions, this just all feels comfortable to me. After studying at "The American Musical and Dramatics Academy" (shout out to my AMDA FAM), I have never felt like this was a new "transition" but simply a part of who I am . Interviewers always ask me, "what's it like to "transition" from being a singer to an actor?" My response, "I have never considered myself to be a singer or an actor. I have always looked at myself as an artist and StoryTeller; one who simply wants to tell meaningful "universal stories in unforgettable ways". Music, Art, Theatre, and Film are vehicles to communicate with my audience." ?? just in case u wanted to know my thoughts around this . ?
