And now that fashion week is a wrap, let us all drown back into life and passion. This season has been quite a particular one for me. I've taken quite a bit of distance in regards to myself, the industry, and my work. Questioning each separately and then each together. It's been tremendously refreshing and awakening. At the end of the day, what matters most is so simple. It's what makes our heartbeat race and what makes our lips smile unintentionally that we should focus on. I have been so excited to be back in the studio right after the last show wrapped up, and spend time with my closest friends in tiny bars wearing sneakers... I've grown not only a distance allowing me to think independently of social pressures, but I hope to think, a wisdom to value and cherish my craft and disregard occasional diminishing negativity regarding the digital community. To me art is a vision, an idea, and the rest is just a manner of sharing it, whether it is through a medium such as music, photography, fashion or on tv, radio, print, online... It doesn't diminish in any way what the artist has created or shared and it can be just as inspiring. I did feel this season being different from any other one. We all took this distance to reflect upon ourselves and our purpose and it feels like we're all learning to be honest and to do the best we can. No matter what we do. It's like coming back to school from summer holidays and each one has grown so much. I don't feel the need to run from one show to another anymore, change in the car just to get my street style look snapped, go to a show where my presence isn't appreciated. In this world where everything goes so fast, well, I've grown into wanting something more pure, and real which might be difficult to get from our social media dominated era. But I still hope it is possible. Because we've never been more connected than right now. So let's use our tools to inspire, empower, and uplift each other instead of pulling each other down. This is our time to be stronger, smarter and better than ever. Photography @cibellelevi
