#ThrowbackThursday to my very first @Vogue shoot years ago with @アーサー・エルゴート and @therealgracecoddington. We spent three days shooting in this little fisherman’s village in Maine where they had asked this young local fisherman my age if he would be in a photo with me on a boat. The whole town came out and were really excited for him. At the end of they day all the kids in town decided to go bowling, and Grace was like, “Coco, you should go with them! We can put you in Balenciaga and you can go bowling!”. As a shy teen I was a little apprehensive and asked if I could just eat with her and Arthur to which she said, “No! We’ll give you some money and you go have fun with the local kids”. She was insistent, so I agreed to go out with the kids but decided to wear my own clothes rather than the Balenciaga. So, off I went bowling with these kids in the middle of nowhere in Maine. It was an amazing trip but looking back I wish I had worn the Balenciaga to go bowling…
