A pod of Spinner Dolphins, including a mother mother and her calves, socialize in the shallow waters off of Oahu, Hawaii. These dolphins forage in the deeper waters at night, then return to shallow bays in the morning where they play and then rest. Dolphins are among the most intelligent, most social creatures on the planet, with the ability to communicate with one another through a series of clicks. Spinner Dolphins, photographed above, are among the most social of all dolphin species.
