Anthony Zinonos (@anthonyzinonos) describes himself as a sucker for construction paper. “I love the texture and simple colors that it comes in,” the collage artist who lives in Oakland, California, says. “It’s cheap and cheerful, and there is something nostalgic about it.” With it, Anthony creates minimal, fantastical landscapes for the figures he includes in his compositions — like this one, inspired by the Miu Miu (@Miu Miu) show during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday. “Delicate people in epic landscapes is very much how I view my surroundings and how we as humans exist on this planet.”
