Ready for another round of #quickandpretty braid tutorials? We're back with mane master and @thebeachwaver founder Sarah Potempa to show you a style that combines easy plaiting techniques with an eye-catching updo. Grab some elastics and bobby-pins, and prepare to sweep your strands up in the coolest new way. This one's definitely not your average topknot!

1. Part your hair to the side and begin fishtail-braiding on the larger side, adding hair from the root.
2. Continue adding hair from the root and braiding toward the back of the head until you hit the top of your ear, then continue braiding downwards.
3. Dutch-braid the other side of your part by weaving strands under instead of over each other, adding hair from the root toward the top and braiding the rest of the way down.
4. Gently pull and flatten both of your braids for an effortless effect.
5. Use the remaining hair to do a low fishtail braid.
6. Criss cross your top two braids and pin them in place.
7. Loosen your final braid and roll it up into a low bun. Grab your bobby pins and secure.
