Of all of the icons at @deserttripindio this weekend the one I love the most is this man, Neil Young. One of the first records I ever remember hearing was déjà vu by Crosby stills Nash and Young. My mom was a huge Neil Young fan so I grew up listening to helpless and heart of gold and after the gold rush, and even to this day these are some of my most beloved songs of all time. Everyone else playing in the desert this weekend is iconic and remarkable, but Neil Young holds a truly special place in my heart.
