Back on the road and leaving Santa Barbara, a city we fell in love with. A little bit of history: 400 years ago Spanish conquerors discovered the region where native Americans used to live. Over the years more and more Spanish people settled down here and thus characterizing the city's style. In 1925 a strong earthquake destroyed the city, but the city planner decided to reconstruct the city in a Spanish style.
