I've known @frostytheshowman for most of my career. We both started together in NYC, him as a struggle but tenacious young booker, me as a a stripper with dreams of dancing in the Russian ballet.
I remember the first gig Frosty got me for $1500 as we became best friends and started down a road where we would together change the business of comedy and build it to a platform that most comedians use today when they are out on the road. Proud that we took a lot of chances and never settled for less than too much.
For a little while we didn't work together because that's what men do. We grow up and fight and we forget to listen but when we do it takes friendships to a new level. Matt has an amazing wife and two kids now while I still have to have sex with models. Some things change and some things stay the same.
Two nights ago we once again worked out a new deal that put the most $1500s in my business account that we've ever done for a single gig. I will use that and continue to invest in myself. #familybusiness
