Quick shot during a commercial break. This was truly one of the most incredible television experiences of my life. NO ONE predicted rain tonight. It's LA. It doesn't rain, which is bad since we're in a drought. But tonight, I SWEAR TO YOU the rain started at the first emotional moment of @The Walking Dead and stopped the SECOND we were done with @amctalkingdead. The very second. The rain was cathartic. I loved every second of it. It's just one of those moments that makes a live broadcast unique on such a big night, and thank you to the 2000 people who got soaked with us. Also, thank YOU for being a part of it. We were running out of time at the end of the show but what I was trying to get out was this: however you feel about the premiere, your feelings are valid. Whether you loved it, hated it, whether it made you sad, angry, happy, relieved, whether it hooked you into the new season or you swore off TWD forever...this show and my show would not exist without the passionate community of fans that keep it in their hearts and minds, both when you're pledging eternal loyalty to it or cussing it out. Either way is right because the show is for you. Tonight was very special to me, so thank you for making that possible. I appreciate it (and you) more than you know...#nofilter #TWD7
