Fascinated by the neo-renaissance work of Santa-Fe based painter Fatima Ronquillo (@fatimaronquillostudio), #AlessandroMichele chose new paintings from her most recent exhibition ‘Flora and Fauna’ that linked to the theme of #BlindForLove for his edition of @amagcuratedby. Titled ‘The Snake Charmer’, this oil painting features a cherub-faced figure who peers beneath a sheer red blindfold embroidered with flowers. The coral snake around her neck has been charmed and slithers away from the nest of robin’s eggs on the stone parapet in front of her.
