"We started a Halloween tradition three years ago, where we would create a themed photoshoot. Just for us, just for fun, to do something different and reconnect with a creative fire, which tends to struggle a bit by the end of the year. Willow, our rescued Kelpie/Shepherd/Husky/?? mix has always been a source of inspiration for me, and so she became the center of each of these stories. To me, she reminds me of this mythical, crescent moon-eyed creature from an old legend or a fairy tale. She is so patient and we always try and make these photoshoots a fun experience for her. From howling at sunrise or decked in a ghost sheet, to meeting Maleficent in a dark forest, to coming back to life on the night of All Souls (Day of the Dead); I hope these photos bring a smile to people and remember that there is still a little magic in the world, especially on Halloween night!
