President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump held their first face-to-face meeting Thursday, meeting alone in the Oval Office for 90 minutes.

#Trump spent years railing against #Obama and challenging the legitimacy of his 2008 election. Obama, who campaigned heartily for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, repeatedly slammed Trump as unfit for office. But Thursday, the two men pledged to work together, with Obama saying he wants to make Trump and his family "feel welcome as we prepare to make this transition."
