This is me waiting for my custom made juice @raorganicsnm. I am wrapping up 36 hours in magical Santa Fe. Here is what I did: dinner @josephsofsantafe has incredible kale chips. Stayed at the perfect Inn of the Vanessie.. which we loved so much we stayed both nights. Also they have a piano bar where @katystephan will take requests from Camelot to 4 Non Blondes (yes my requests and no I don't care for your judgement). Green Chili soup at The Shed, live music and tamales in the plaza, a quick bite at The Pantry and the incredible collection @okeeffemuseum. Everyone we met was so kind and ready to make us feel at home... even the man I asked about crime levels who immediately started to complain about black lives matters and then had a near heart attack mid sentence when he realized I might be black. That conversation became an opportunity to learn about his point of view and what was impacting his neighborhood. Which turns out are drugs being trafficked, not a movement to ensure equality around black lives. I was grateful to talk with everyone and thank you to all those that have gave us recommendations as we continue our journey into Texas. Xo
