Yesterday I went down to surf #k38, a point break in Mexico, to CELEBRATE LIFE since the day I broke my back and became paralyzed in a snowboarding accident....11-19-2000, my ALIVE DAY??I had a smile on my face as I drug my self across the rocks, crawled through the sand to my surf board, and finally paddled into the ocean. My smile and stoke grew with every wave that rolled through and I spent the time between sets reflecting on the last 16 years. No matter how I looked at it, sitting out in that big blue sea, the blessings out weighed the hardship...10 fold.
