That year, more than a million people watched the @Macy's #ThanksgivingDayParade. But not all New Yorkers attended. Some NYC residents went to church; others went to the movies. The Home for Aged and Infirm Hebrews hosted a quiet candle-lit dinner for “older persons,” and the Madison Square Boys Club threw a small parade for children that @ニューヨーク・タイムズ described as “a procession of ragamuffins.” And some, like Mr. and Mrs. John Woods of the Bronx, enjoyed their turkey at a restaurant in Manhattan.
