I randomly wore this shirt on the day I went into labour. I didn't know it would be the most well-chosen shirt ever when I put it on that morning. The @panziusa people are doing amazing work for women in DRC who need obgyn care, many of whom have been victims of sexual violence. I learned about them from @womenforwomen (another really special group) and Dr Denis Muskwege is one of the most saintly people out there. He's been helping women for decades. So as Giving Tuesday nears, I encourage you to look them up and see the good work being done. I'm so grateful I had medical care and a safe space in which to give birth to my daughter, and whatever we can do to make that a reality for everyone is something to aspire to.
