Whenever I find myself in the face of adversity, whether it be big or small I always go back and read the story of Job. When I stop trying to do things in my own strength it dawns on me that this is probably an opportunity to grow and learn something. So I shut up, read my WORD, and look for the lesson. You never know your full potential in any area in your life, until you are challenged and pushed to persevere. Some lessons take days and some have taken years. But my trust in God never waivers, in fact it has been strengthened because of all of it and it draws me closer. The first message I heard when I started going back to church was by @acall2give Pastor Dre. She said "GOD WANTS ME IN THE MOST OPTIMAL PLACE RELATIONALLY" and every relationship requires time and focus, and love, even through the hard times. I couldn't be doing what I do here in London without God's anointing and help. 7 shows a week, disciplined eating (sometimes ? a sista is ravenous after these shows lol), working out, and being quiet lol this is life changing and CHALLENGING! But honestly it wouldn't feel as gratifying if it was easy! This has been a MAJOR part of my process and it's working. I'm grateful. Just wanted to share some #notesfrommyjournal
