Today we find ourselves asking, "Where is the world's humanity?” The war in Aleppo is coming to an end. Yesterday, many took to social media to say their final goodbyes as the Syrian government closed in on the remaining residents. There are reports of merciless executions of residents, including children and women, taking place in the streets. Blood runs through these streets, and it stains the hands of world leaders, who have watched the city fall.
100,000 people are trapped inside awaiting their death or torture. This is nothing short of a genocide, and we are standing by, bearing witness.
