Here's a pic from #iamacabaret this past Sunday night.
I got to sing a 90s medley with two of my best friends. So basically, it was my favorite night ever.
Also, I got to watch my old viewpoints teacher @alexandrasbillings get a standing O before she sang Creep and brought everyone to tears.
Also, I got to watch my dear friend @ジェイミー=リン・シグラー be both Lisa Loeb & Alanis Morissette (my first job was saying one line to her on The Sopranos).
Then I watched my Shondaland family members @Kelly McCreary sing Nothing Compares to You (which is Adam's and my song!)
AND @ポール・アデルスタイン sing Freedom & he backed me up with his serious guitar talent.
I also watched some incredible new friends @bethbehrsreal, @Retta, & @mayasmithmusic, each in their own way, hold the audience in the palm of their hand.
And of course, @matthewhoffman.tv who's the host with the MOST. We waitered together at BLD & AMMO for what seemed like forever.
So again, it was my most favorite night ever. I needed it. With everything that's going on, it was a magical night at the theatre. To laugh. To sing. To be with my best friends and artistic community and friends.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported. And screamed and whistled. Thank you.
