My great grandfather who was born in Aleppo and great grandmother who was born in Armenia, who met in Aleppo when she was fleeing Armenia during the Armenian Genocide, then who were both persecuted in Aleppo and managed to escape to America before it was too late. I'm so deeply saddened to hear what has happened there, as we still have some relatives present there today. @shishi.rose has compiled a list of places to call and give to, I deeply encourage you to do what you can.
