At the end of the 1970s, Ed Ruscha left an artwork—a fake rock—somewhere in the vast Mojave desert. French artist Pierre Bismuth has spent a decade trying to find it with the help of a private detective. In a film featuring Michael Govan, Philippe Vergne, Eli Broad, Connie Butler, Jim Ganzer, D.V. DeVincentis, Anthony Peckham, and Mike White, Bismuth takes us on a journey to see what he found.
