2016 has been quite the year. For me, it was about new beginnings with the launch of @secondskinoveralls and @archiveshoes. It was about cutting the fat literally and figuratively from my life, and expanding my resume from blogger to business woman, entrepreneur, and investor. It was about learning to become the best version of myself, inside and out. For our world however, 2016 gave us much pain, loss, and brokenness - like we are going backwards in time. When I look to the new year I know that luck is not in our hands, but decision is. We have the power to realize the change our world needs, big or small, we can all make a difference. May 2017 give you the opportunity to realize your personal dreams too, rediscover your strengths, and embrace your power. Genuine success and happiness comes to those who are ready for it, and fuck am I ready. I made a list of personal, career, and community goals after the slopes yesterday - it was 6 pages long - and I can't wait to get started. I want to thank you guys for always being so freaking awesome and supportive through life changes and all my new ventures - I truly appreciate you more than I can express. My wish for all of you, is to make new mistakes. Make glorious amazing mistakes without freezing or stopping because life isn't perfect. Whatever it is your scared of doing, do it.
