@laurie_winter On my last morning in Wanaka recently, I contemplated going to take a couple more pictures of the tree. My alarm went off and I hit the snooze button several times. There was an internal dilemma about whether I could be bothered, having already paid the tree two visits. Somehow motivation won and I got out of bed. This ended up being my favourite photo I took all week. And for everyone who gets sick of the tree - I get it, I really do.... But there really is something quite captivating about being at this spot at sunrise, especially in winter when hardly anyone else shows up! ? #watchthisinstagood suggested by @rachstewartnz
