Once I owned my own business I never imagined the unfair treatment would continue, but oh it did! Till this day I have meetings where men (& unfortunately sometimes other women) will not make me eye contact with me and stare straight at any males in the office, even while I'm talking. They brush of my questions and sometimes ignore me, It is utterly disrespectful. It took me some time to be able to demand respect, so now I always lean in and say "I'm signing your checks, so you need to sell me on you, not anyone else" which may sound harsh, but it works. It's important as women to be strong, to be bold, and most importantly support each other. As women today we have more demands on us than ever before, and by supporting each other, everything is possible! Thank you to all my wonderful Instagram family for all of your support! ???????????????
