Four working days into the new administration and we've seen the environment & climate trampled, woman's rights compromised and uncertainty brought to affordable healthcare. These decisions are motivated by short-term monetary gain, of which not all will benefit. Yet the long-term consequences on health and the environment affect everyone, regardless of where you live. ??? My value set is rooted in climbing: clear communication, trust, partnership and honesty. Success on a mountain is defined by no injury or death, returning as friends and, if things go well, an ascent to the summit. By extension this is how I view life with my family, our community and our fellow citizens of the world. Am I asking too much for #45 to have the same values? ❄❄❄ "Holdfast, all storms pass" is an old sailors adage. I keep it close to my heart when life gets tough. It's also a reminder to not give up hope. Hope is what the millions of woman shared on the 21st of January 2017. Their voice was unified - asking the president to embody a sense of decency. The type of courtesy ones grandmother instills.
