(?Also, not related but annoying so it's good for a monday: I keep seeing gofundme pages done for different kitties in need. I have used gofundme myself, i have nothing against that and i totally understand that people can't always afford the sometimes crazy vet cost out babies needs... BUT i am very annoyed by some people who are using the COI Community kindness for their own profit while lying about their pet troubles. I wont say any names but i see one account here on ig acting like that and it infuriates me... She started asking for her cat about two years ago, he was about to die, had something in his brsin, was having seizures etc... She asked for about 6 month and was doing a new gofundme page as soon as she was raising her goal. When i asked for a vet bill or something she told me that she didn't have to justify anything and stop answering me. Then her cat misteriously recovered just like that... Then she made an other gofundme for a cat's friend not on instagram and now for a cat that she have found in the streets. She is always using horrible stories and graphic words/pics and lies like "i had to sell my wedding ring" or "I had to sell my house we're gonna be homeless" to heartbreak people. So please, before giving or even promoting someone's gofundme, make sure it's not fake: look at the person profil: Is it her first time? Is the story believable? Is she buying herself stuff while saying she has not even a dollar? Is there a vet bill ot something to prove where did the money went? And please remember, every dollar given to a scammer could have been used to save a pet that really needed it!)
