Tomorrow, the Senate Judiciary Committee will vote whether or not to send #JeffSessions to the Senate floor for a confirmation vote as the next Attorney General. His record shows that, if confirmed, he would reverse decades of civil rights progress for women, African Americans, the LGBTQIA community and recent immigrants.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions will also vote on whether or not to send #BetsyDeVos to the Senate floor for a confirmation vote as the next United States Education Secretary. During her first confirmation hearing, DeVos was unable to answer basic questions about education policy. DeVos has never taught or worked in a school, and is expected to take away crucial funds from public schools.

We must #StopSessions and #StopDeVos!

Join us tomorrow morning in DC for a press conference before the Sessions hearing outside of the Dirksen Senate Office Building on the corner of Constitution and 1st NE. Arrival is at 8:15am, and the conference will begin at 8:30am. Please wear black.
