Today we would like to introduce the "PORTER GRIPPER" series which is now available in store.
The "GRIPPER" was exhibited at the NY Designer's Collective in 1981 and became to be one of the beginnings for the PORTER brand to be noticed.
Keeping the design with three holes same as the initial design, this time we have updated some specifications and created new styles so they would be useful in the present life.
Just like how the initial "GRIPPER" was, we have used both the outside (with PVC coating) and inside (Cotton Back Satin) of the material depending on parts so you are able to enjoy the combination of different textures.

本日は展開中のアイテムより「ポーター グリッパー」シリーズをご紹介いたします。
1981年に発表した「グリッパー」は、同年に開催されたNYデザイナーズ・コレクティブに出展した製品の1つで、ポーター ブランドの認知度を上げるきっかけにもなったシリーズです。
発表当時の3つ穴デザインはそのままに、現代のライフスタイルに即したデザインに再構成しています。
当時の「グリッパー」と同様に、同一の生地の表面（PVC加工面）と裏面（コットンバックサテン面）を部分的に使い分けており、素材のコンビネーションをお楽しみいただけます。
