Still smiling because I didn't know what was coming... An entire night of good old darkness at the Marmot Dark Mountains. No moonlight, a freezing wind, fog and snow, and all you focus on is that bubble of light that surrounds you. Eventhough the new Petzl Nao+ headlamps are strong as a carlight, it just made the fog look thicker... ?
After about an hour or so we got lost in a swamp and were surprised how well waterproof socks keep your feet warm and dry. In spite of how utterly destroyed I felt after the race, now I know: I'll be back next year!! @marmot_mountain_europe @lasportivagram @petzl_official #marmotdarkmountains
