Weekend creative space set up. Arranged neatly before the journey of the beautiful mess begins. I have a lot in my heart and on my mind and the best way I know how to express it is through color and ink and letting my hands breathe, move and get inundated with the mediums. This time around the bend I'm focused on honoring the heart upon first whisper rather than waiting until dry fumes screech. That means saying yes when I truly feel okay to and saying no when my heart isn't in it (this can be really challenging when you find joy in giving). It means surrounding myself with that which beckons life, love, health and wholeness. And modeling what I value to myself and to others. Letting gossip die at my ears and resisting the urge to partake. Extending grace in any situation yet utilizing wisdom as well. Having confidence to walk with my heart when it challenges me the most. To be congruent. From the inside out. This is what is ruminating lately. The contemplation of winter, the promise of spring and the richness of life seeping within the roots in between the seasons. •
