@purina makes millions of dollars from declawing from the sale of their Yesterday’s News cat litter. Purina's "Yesterday's News Cat Litter" is the number 1 recommended litter by vets for declawed cats because their paws are just too painful to use regular litter because of their toe amputations. While it is nice of Purina to offer this to these poor cats, we feel that Purina should realize that by offering this product, they are implicitly condoning a surgery that is very cruel and harmful to cats. Purina should help educate cat owners about scratching behavior & why cats need their claws since most of the prodeclaw vets that sell & recommend Yesterday's News litter aren't. ?

Mars, Incorporated owns VCA, Banfield, and BluePearl veterinary practices. We are asking them to do a great service to the animals they serve & to not allow any non-therapeutic surgeries in their hospitals. We are asking them to make a policy against declawing, devocalization, ear cropping, and tail docking.
