Making brunch plans this weekend? Stop by #TheWright restaurant at the Guggenheim to experience a new installation by #SarahCrowner. The artist's graphic compositions mine the rich history of 20th-century modernism while deftly testing the possibilities of abstract painting. Instead of a paintbrush, Crowner deploys stitches and seams to produce the clean lines and elegant curves inhabiting her canvas works. The blue, white, and yellow terracotta tiles installed on the floor and two walls of the restaurant were handmade at a factory in Guadalajara, Mexico. Crowner describes the floors, “paintings you can walk on.” #Guggenheim ? David Heald
