andy warhol flowers 1964.
it was 1984 and berdorf goodman staged a fashion show for jean paul gaultier at battery park in a circus tent. everyone was there artists, musicians, actors etc..... popcorn and champagne it was incredible! it was the first time he showed his collection in the united states. i just turned 21 so i made myself a black football matte jersey dress with the number 21 hand stitched in rhinestones and paillettes on the front. after the show i walked over to the odeon and waited for my friends. i looked over my shoulder and in the window of the odeon there was andy warhol staring back. my fifteen minutes!
