Growing up shooting surfing I never really considered that the same storms we chased around the world for Swell also brought epic conditions to the Mountains. Maybe you get close minded when the beach is 5 minutes from your house.

These last few days have been an education in finding surf in the mtns. I've seen everything from nuking storms to bluebird skies while hunting powder at one of my favorite places. @gsiebs
