#tbt from @mayhemb3_mattbiolos "Here's an oldy from 1990. I would have been 20-21 years old.
Big ass Mayhem logo, with the wave and sun inside. I printed the logos in my bedroom, and after a while, started scissor cutting the wave/sun out of the logo. The "Pacific Coast" logo was drawn by the late great, #JackMeyer. It was the name of the glass shop that is now @catalyst_sc. Tom "Sudsy" Sutherland owned and ran it at the time. "Surf City" was Suds short lived retail store, just down the road....formerly @colesurfboards "SurfSpot " shop. At this time I was using pin line paint rollers ( from the hot rod world ) to draw directly on the foam. Very hard way to draw, and I could only roll the roller one direction. It wasn't until '91 that we discovered the Posca pens, while shaping in Japan, and I was able to start really drawing directly on the finished glass.
This board was found by @frostywear and sent as a DM.
I don't know who it was shaped for.
