When creating a #smokeyeye I like to start by applying a hydrating mask to the face (the La Mer Lifting and Firming mask is my favorite) while I work on the eye. I clean off the mask along with any dark shadows that may have fallen under the eye before applying skincare, foundation, blush, etc. It gives a good dose of moisture to the skin and almost makes for easy clean up - @kayleenmcadams #LaMerEditorinChic
