In Los Angeles, during the 1990's there was a massive power outage that left the whole city dark. Residents called 911 to report strange clouds and lights in the sky (they were seeing the Milky Way for the first time!) ?
If you haven't had a chance to get away from city light pollution to view the stars at night, I highly recommend it! Just don't call the cops.
This is probably the craziest airglow I've ever seen, the Milky Way was looking alright too haha.
