It’s taken a while to get over this miss, I’m not sure I ever will, but that’s weightlifting. I knew when I stepped onto the most incredible stage in the entire world that I did everything I could to get there. Both Trials and the Olympics I had my leg cramp to where I couldn’t lock my leg out. That could be an excuse that I could use to why I couldn’t do it that day, but why? Weightlifting is a sport of 4 years into less than 3 minutes on stage. Some days you have it some days you don’t. Maybe if I did make it, I wouldn’t have kept training.
